This Christmas we are your home for festive cheer. We’re bringing all the sparkle, all the fun and all the feels. Whether it’s a work’s do, a catch-up with mates or a place to come and watch the football, our pub is where Christmas truly feels like home!
A traditional family-friendly pub
The Golden Arrow is a fantastic community pub located in the port town of Folkestone, Kent. Here we welcome locals and visitors alike, providing all with a great range of drinks and regular entertainment.
The pub has stood proudly on the Golden Valley estate in Folkestone since the late 1960’s, just a 10-minute walk from the increasingly popular Folkestone coastal area! Named after the infamous British Rail boat train; the pub saw its first pint pulled in 1968. The pub underwent a name change to the Jester in 1994 but reverted to the Golden Arrow in 2009.

Three shades of grey @ 3pm Music quiz SonnDynamic Soundsd a 70/80s disco hosted by Dynamic Sounds There will also be a big raffle and a mini auction throughout the day, so come down and support a good cause raising money for KSS Air Ambulance charity and Fletcher Dog charity. We are so excited to have Aron Daniel back again, he’s a brilliant solo singer/ guitarist. Come on down to watch a truly amazing performance from him. Saturday 13th December at 8pm. We are looking forward to it so we will see you all there. It’s that wonderful time of year again, hasn’t that come around quick. We’re still finishing up the final details but we can for sure say we will have lots of Christmas themed activities for the little ones. We would absolutely love to see everyone’s best funky Christmas jumpers. 🎄 Mums, dads and anyone joining in for the day, make sure to hold on to your drinks as we are bringing the snow inside for an epic SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!! ❄️ We have some Christmas mascots that will be joining us and a frosty snowman told me that Santa may even be here to see you all. ☃️ *all children joining us will receive a gift free of charge, so please make sure to respond to this event so we have an idea of how many gifts we need so we don’t fall short and disappoint anyone*
